Okay so I just want to point out some of the benefits of eye cream and concealer.
Eye cream is an essential part of your anti-aging skin-care regimen. And under-eye concealer is what I like to refer to as a gift from the makeup gurus. Since its inception it has served and solved many a late night, or lack of water, allergy, puffy eye disaster. We must remember when wearing the two together it can accentuate fine lines and end up looking cakey.
So lets start with the basics: 1st lets “prime the eye correctly”, to prevent concealer from cracking. 2nd “know your skintype” if you tend to be oily, don’t use a thick oily or very creamy eye cream. For those with dry skin, use a hydrating eye cream so your makeup doesn’t crack. 3rd “Always let your under-eye cream set 90 seconds before putting concealer on.” Using concealer as the last step of makeup will give your eye cream enough time to absorb.
Don’t be afraid to try different brands until you find the one that is right for you. Both eye cream and concealer do not have to come from the same brand. What may work from one company in eye cream may not work for you in a concealer.
