I used my normal day to day moisturiser on my eyes for aaaages but I knew it was bad and I could see that on my skin. The heavy moisturisers I use for my dry skin was giving me milia and were weighing down the delicate under eye area giving me bags. So it was time for eye-cream, I wasn't in the market for anything to tackle fine lines or any anti-ageing properties, I just wanted a moisturising eye cream that wouldn't clog up my skin here's 3 I've tried and what I thought.. La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Eyes
Intense rehydration and anti-puffiness
17.50 euro for 15ml
I swear I don't work for La Roche Posay.. I feel like I write about them in every single post, but I love this stuff. It's not a wonder product it just works, LRP products do exactly what they say they will in my experience and this is no different. My very dry skin is hydrated and I don't need to reapply any cream throughout the day. It's not greasy and soaks in in seconds so it's perfect for using day and night. There's also a handy diagram on the inside of the box to show you how to apply it and massage your eye area.
Lancome Hydra Zen Yeux
Eye countour gel-cream. Anti-puffiness, anti-fatigue
15ml
I found this really irritating to my whole eye area and would definitely not repurchase. It stings like crazy as soon as it touches my skin, but I've still managed to finish the whole thing, I'm not sure why I do it to myself..
Aveeno Positively Radiant Eye-Brightening Cream
Visibly improves the appearance of dark circles and puffiness
15ml
The creamiest of the bunch, it's slightly irritating on my eyelids but it's fine on my under-eyes. It's my rescue remedy for hangover days. But because I find it slightly irritating I won't repurchase. My sister actually got this in the States, but I'm assuming that it's available here, if you can't find it at your pharmacy then you could ask them to order it in for you (I've done that for Aveeno products).
Not that I wouldn't necessarily buy an eye-cream in a pot but I like how these ones are all either a pump or a tube so it's hygienic, the only drawback is that with a pump it's impossible to know when you're running out and you never get every last drop out.

PS Is it just me or are eye-creams incredibly hard to describe?
