My current go-to nightly eye treatment is the Bliss Fabulous Every Day Eye Cream (previously known as the All Around Eye Cream). Retailing for $30 (.05 fl oz), this lightweight cream is packed with antioxidants that help lock in moisture. Excluded is a long list of crummy ingredients such as Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances and Dyes, Phthalates, GMOs and Triclosan.
The texture of this is thin and somewhat watery, but thanks to its powerful ingredients such as Vitamin E, Grapeseed Oil and Hyaluronic Acid, it still manages to hydrate and nourish my under eyes.
A tiny bit goes a long way, so this tube should last a while. I’ve been using mine for about 6 months and I still have over half left!
My eyes are quite sensitive, so at times this has the tendency to cause stinging. To avoid that I have to be careful not to apply it any higher than my orbital bone, anything closer and it will creep into my eyes.
Like many eye creams, this product claims to diminish dark circles and lessen the look of fine lines and crows feet. Since I’m only 27, I don’t have an issue with fine lines yet so I can’t attest to its claims.
However, I have seen a nice improvement in my dark circles. It was not an overnight difference, but a few months into my nightly use and I began to see that my dark circles were hardly noticeable.
PROS:
- Lightweight
- Easy to blend
- Hydrating
- Brightening
- Will last a long time
- Easy to use packaging
- $30 price tag
CONS:
- Can cause stinging/burning in eyes
- Watery texture
- Has tendency to creep into eyes
- $30 price tag
You’ll notice that I listed the price under both the pros and cons. Depending on your budget, $30 is either a great deal or way too expensive. For me, it was a nice change from my previous $50 eye cream from Caudalíe.
Like any other skincare item, this one takes time to truly take effect. Since this does have the tendency to irritate my eyes, I’m still on the fence about repurchasing it. However, the hydrating and brightening effects are enough to keep me coming back until this tube is done!
You can purchase this in stores at ULTA and Sephora or online for $30. Let me know what your favorite eye cream is!
XOXO,
Julie
