Starting over with Origins age erasers? | VOXXI

I am not that optimistic these days, beauty product-wise.

What I try to find in a cream is that it won’t clog my pores and yet hydrate my skin. If it actually prevents wrinkles and softens fine lines, that would be great! But I don’t keep my hopes up! I am really wary of anti-aging claims, just as I don’t believe in prince charming! But, if I find a cream that doesn’t clog my pores or make my skin break out, I’m half way to being happy with it!

I tried Origins Starting Over Age Erasing Moisturizer with Mimosa and I actually liked it! It wasn’t even the oil-free formula, and I had no break outs! Hurray! Soft on skin, hydrating and easy to extend. It was absorbed instantly and I loved the smell! I think this is the one thing I actually fell for!

As soon as I read the word natural, I cringe! Thinking it’s going to smell like a dead animal – even though they don’t test on them! And let’s admit it, we all like pleasant smelling creams.

Another taker: The jar is consistent with the content! Not an oversized container with a tiny drop of cream. A plus!

It promises: to help rebuild collagen, even out skin, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles using natural ingredients found in nature. Like Mimosa Tree Bark and Green Algae among other ingredients which help promote healthier skin.

Price: $45.00 for 1.7 fl

Origins Starting Over Age-erasing Eye Cream

I’ve mentioned before that I am prone to those not too sexy bags under my eyes, so most eye creams usually make my eyes puff up if they are too dense.

This one didn’t, but you have to make sure you pat the cream around the eye area and not make the mistake I made which was to smear the cream on my eyes and eyelids! This will make you cry, believe me!

I did find it hydrating and not pasty. Glided on and I didn’t wake up with red puffy eyes, or at least not unnaturally so.

It promises: to reduce puffiness, smooth crows feet over time and hydrate. All the aforementioned ingredients aid the process.

Price: $35.00 0.5 fl oz

And my favorite of all time! And have actually been using for years! Origins No Puffery, Cooling mask for puffy eyes

It Promises: To de-puff, brighten and lighten dark circles. It is made from Hoelen mushroom, Aloe Vera and cucumber extracts.

My take: I use it in the morning not as a mask, but as a light cream and it really helps! Sometimes I place it in the fridge, it’s cool, and we all know this will ease the puffiness somewhat!

Price: $22.00 for10 fl.
